Weekly Poll Result: Mosque 08/23/2010

Well, it was overwhelming. Twenty two of you responded, and 20 said No, a mosque should not be built near Ground Zero. One said yes, another chose "other." I'm psyched that 22 people took the time to answer the poll and you should feel free to continue the discussion. You know how I feel. They have the right to build and the freedom to build, but that doesn't mean they SHOULD build. Big difference.
Anyway, it's time for a new poll. Take a look, then weigh in. And please, keep spreading the word. Also, when you need a break from work, or maybe from your significant other (lol), I have a new crossword puzzle on my Web site every day. Thanks!

I am torn between this...I hate what happend on 9/11 it was the most horrible thing in the world to me, not to mention the most horrible feeling I ever had not knowing what was going on and if where I was, was going to be struck next.

I also feel though that if the Mosque is not allowed to be built then we are infringing upon the rights of human beings "American Muslims"

So they are muslim...this does not mean they are terroists. In the South there are members of the KKK so does that mean that every white man in the South is a member of this racist group?

A good way to settle this would be to rezone the area and have nothing built by no one. No Catholic Churches, No Mosques, No Temples, No Baptist Church, etc.

I do think that we, as Americans should try to learn the cultures and religions of those who seek to live in America from other countries. Maybe if more people were educated on this there wouldn't be this much anger.

We are all human beings and there are good and bad no matter what religion, race...etc.
